I graduated from Southern University School of Architecture in 2009 and was instantly ready to start my professional career as designer. It was not the easiest thing, but I was full of excitement and belief in myself. The struggle of some months resulted in getting my dream job in local government. 

It was like a dream come true for me, and I put all of my enthusiasm into the work I did. I became the senior graphic designer, city planner, floodplain manager, housing coordinator, website developer, and grant-writer of the company I was working for. It was a huge responsibility, and I tried to do my best. Working in those positions has helped me gain more experience.
